Can Winstar accommodate gluten-free diet?

I've been looking with interest at Windstar's Istanbul to Athens cruises. Main problem is DH loves blaconies (that he could get over), one DD is a vegetarian (figured she could find something to eat) but the other DD requires a gluten-free diet.

I did a quick search on this forum for gluten-free but could not find anything except from several years ago. Anyone have any experience?

Windstar's policy hasn't changed from information posted to this thread:

You can find it on Windstar's webpage:

I don't think you will miss not having a balcony. I am sure you are aware you will need to book two cabins. Watch for a sale.

Thanks for the reply. That was actually the old thread I had found, but since it was from 2007 and did not give anyone's personal experiences, I was hoping for some recent experience.

I will call and talk with them about it. I had read their policy about accommodating dietary restrictions with notice, but since they did not mention gluten-free I thought I would post.

My wife is vegeterian and she was able to find mutlipe things to eat for each meal (not just salad) and items for clearly marked.

I would suggest (1) calling Windstar, we typically were able to have most of our questions answered and if you do book (2) fill out and send in the "special request" form that they provide. Here you can list any special food needs, medical requirements, etc so the ship can plan.
