April Vacation When do your kids get out??

My kids are out for 2 weeks in March.

The Los Angeles public school system takes off the week before Easter. So that's the week of April 9, 2006. But if you are trying to avoid College Spring Break, you may want to be aware that the colleges have staggered spring break over four weeks now in order to avoid total chaos in the popular spots (as opposed to semi-total chaos).

Boston and surrounding areas starts their vacation on Patriots Day Monday. Leaves the roads open for the marathon. Just a couple days away, we'll be stationed on heartbreak hill.

New York City public schools will be closed on Good friday and probably the week after Easter. They may, however, close the week before, for the beginning of Passover.
