HAL FAX not working for CCL Benefit line

I've been trying all morning to get a Fax through to HAL for the CCL Stockholders benefit, using 208-281-0627.

This is the first time I"ve tried this and am wondering if it's something unusual or if I just have to stay glued to the phone all day trying to find a chance for the line to be open. Any advice? Thanks, m--

Believe you are using the incorrect FAX number... I FAXED my request to the Attn Of Karen Stuart at 206 (NOT 208)-281-0627 on NOV 28, with a covering letter asking to have a confirmation by e-mail & on Nov 30 received my confirmation..

Hope this helps..

Cheers,:) Betty

Woody, you must have had a lucky email :D Mine was sent a few days before and I still do not have credit or confirmation.

Lisa: If luck is on my side, once onboard, I'm playing Bingo and heading for the casino!

Our sailing date is fast approaching in February. I wonder if that has something to do with it.

Hopefully you will hear from HAL soon.

Woody, I got bets that your sailing date may have something to do with it since that department is running behind. I never thought about that. My first cruise I sent them is not till March 18th, then I also gave them my May 8th and May 12th reservation numbers. They may be spending more time organizing the dates of the sailings than actually just processing the Ship Board Credit. I believe what has happened is that in order to get the Ship Board Credit HAL now has to send in each one to CCL and get the approval that the stock is active to get reimbursed. I think in the past they would just process and then send them all in later. I think what has happened is that they were getting some that the passengers no longer owned the stock so that left HAL paying for it. No of course this is just my guess but I had a recent encounter in helping someone get thee stock added last minute and I was basically told this by HAL stating that they now have to get the approval from CCL. That is why they have become so picky with what they are receiving from everyone in regards of proof you have the stock.

Thanks Lisa. I'll try a few more times today and then tonight and if it doesn't work I"ll go through the process to email it, maybe just a scan of the one page...I can do that with our netbook, our only computer left to communicate with the scanner by XP, others are newer - not alwasy easier, HA. The full statement is 16 pages, it'sd a year end statement, Ugh.

And i'm leaving early in the morning for a girlfriend break to Sedona for a few days and was hoping to get this out of the way today, final payment was made today!! It's all good and it'll all happen but thanks to you and others for the support. m--

To scan with our Win 7 and Vista computers, we open Paint and from the File dropdown we select From Scanner or Camera ... that opens another window where we select Scan, then save the scanned image. Before saving the image, we black out or erase any info, such as other stock holdiings, etc.

Try it ... you may find that your newer computers indeed do work with your scanner.
