This will be our first time in St Thomas. We have 2 girls who love the beach and not big shoppers. One enjoys snorkeling. What beach do you recommend? Can you rent chairs at all the beaches??

For just swimming and a more populated people watching type of beach I would say go to Megan's bay .

If snorkeling is planned then Megan's isn't a good fit . I would probably take a cab to Sapphire Beach or Secret Harbor . All three of these beaches have chairs available . The amenities are better at Secret harbor but I think the snorkeling has been better for me at Sapphire Beach . Taxi to these two beaches should be $10 pp each way , I know ouch ! We take the bus anymore but our comfort level is very high in USVI after visiting quite often . Hope this helps ! Ted
