labguides Posted January 6, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2012 What type of weather can one anticipate in mid-May in Montreal? Thinking about a Montreal to Boston cruise in mid-May. What about weather at-sea during mid-May?
monicajay Posted January 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2012 Weather in Montreal for May is usually pretty nice. Spring like though not yet summer. Grass should be green and tulips will be out. Trees are turning green. Days can be from 60's to 80's with evenings much cooler. As soon as the sun drops we know it isn't summer yet. Raining days are possible but are more frequent in April. All this of course is based on average and as most of us know the world's weather isn't always average any more. So, you would want to dress with layers and be prepared to add and subtract as needed. We were able to open our pool on May 24th this year but only young teens went in. Hope this helps.
libertyschool Posted January 12, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2012 What Monicajay said is exactly right. Springtime weather with flowers in bloom. Temperatures could range from slightly cool to very warm and with the strange weather we've been seeing these days it could be very hot or cold. Layers are a great idea. What about weather at-sea during mid-May? Montreal in mid-May will be nice. It's already nice in April minus the rain. It'll be t-shirt weather for the most part, and maybe a light jacket for the nights as it'll be cooler. How long you're going to be in Montreal? I can suggest places to visit, do, etc. -Harjit
