Cruise Ship Shows

My guess is your first-time cruisers. You do not have to sign up for shows. If your ship has two settings for dinner than you usually go to the shows when you're not eating dinner. If it's a ship that has anytime dining than you usually go to the show convenient to your time schedule. It's no big deal.

Traveling on the Carnival Elation... Do you have to sign up to attend shows ahead of time, or is it first come first serve?? If you do sign up early how and where do you sign up?

Just show up. Obviously, the earlier you arrive, the better your seat will be. We generally show up about 30 minutes ahead of time and enjoy a cocktail while waiting for the show to begin.
