Visa Points Question

I received 10000 points for signing up (and making 1 purchase) for the RC Visa and now want to redeem those points for $100 onboard credit. How do I do that? Is it through RC or the card co.? Thanks!

when is states that you can upgrade from Inside to Outside (minimum available) can you use part of points and pay the difference if you want a higher cat cabin? For instance, up grade to balcony which is $500 more and only pay the difference?

You can use the points as a credit to help pay for any higher cat cabin. You can't use part of the points, you have to use whatever the amount is required for the upgrade. The amount of credit will be the difference in price between the minimum available inside and the minimum available outside.

 

Just be aware of the best use of the points when you use them for upgrades or free cruises that depend on current pricing that may vary. For example, if you were considering using 15000 points for an inside to outside upgrade, but the difference in stateroom price was only $50 per person, then you would be only getting an $100 benefit. It would be better to use the points as a $150 discount.

Thanks for the quick reply. Right now the Promenade and lowest outside are the same price.
