mspink98 Posted January 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2012 I was a little thrown this morning to receive a call from concierge services or something to that effect for our cruise next month in AQ. I was under the impression that concierge services were available for suites and Elite. The gentleman asked if there was anything he could do to assist or improve our vacation, and I seem to be fairly low maintenance, because I couldn't think of a single thing. Our reservation and my folks' are linked and I did request a cord and water for my dad's CPAP, but that's it. Are these services two different things? Is there anything not-obvious that anyone has requested ahead of time? How about onboard (or do we even have that option)? Like I said, we're pretty low maintenance-as long as it's warm and sunny we'll be thrilled. I'm just wondering if there's something I haven't thought of.
Rare ghstudio Posted January 11, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2012 Celebrity marketing is making those calls to all passengers in an effort to increase pre-cruise sales of excursions, drink packages and so on. They may call themselves concierge services, but the only thing they can do is to sell you something that you could buy going to the Celebrity web site.
