lrs430 Posted January 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2012 I am traveling with a group of 6 this March and one of our ports is in Curacao. Here is our issue: 3 of the 6 have recently had some type of knee or hip replacement in the last year. They are able bodied and recovering quickly but need to move at a slower pace and sometimes distance or incline can be an issue. Not to mention by dad is next inline for a hip replacement when we return. We are really looking forward to the beach and exploring the island but need to be a little more creative and thoughtful about how we plan our day. Would love to snorkel or spend the day at the beach. Any suggestions? We keep coming across a common theme with the snorkel excursions that most boats use a ladder to come in and out of the water. I don't think that is the most ideal situation for this group. Would REALLY appreciate your suggestions.

cruiseapril Posted January 13, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2012 Blue Bay is a relaxing resort with a nice beach and pool, all amenities and snorkeling. We enjoyed it. You can google Blue Bay Resort Curacao for photos.
