They can't be removed, but they can be opened, just let your room steward know and he/she will take care of it.

There is a panel that is really a door that can be unlocked by the steward. You can go through the door from one balcony to the other, but it isn't opened up to make one big balcony.

I have heard, on the Sun, that certain ones can be opened and others can not. Steve

Not all, but most.

 

Can't tell you which ones, however, as I don't know, and doubt very much that the phone-answerers @ 1-800-Princess would have a clue - their information so often is incorrect.

my last 3 cruises i had my door opened it can fully be reomved ( sux ) just the door stays swung open which is better than nothing, we love to go out on the balconies and have some drings before dinner!

We were on the Sun in a mini-suite and our friends were next door. Our cabin steward opened the partition and for the whole 10 days we had a double balcony - it was great.
