We will be on NCL Spirit in April. Toulon stop is Sunday the 29th. Can anyone offer suggestions to how to spend the day other than typical cruise excursions. Have never been to south of France before so know little of what this might offer. Trying to do research now via Fodors and Trip Advisor but any suggestions welcome. Thanks to all.

This was our first port stop on a Sunday as well...Had excursions/private tours book at other ports so we just took the bus shuttle into town walked the main street that had a farmers mkt but by noon everyone was packing up..The town is pretty much closed on Sunday but the slow pace was a nice rest from our jetlag and get us ready for the adventures that were to follow on our next busy port stops....

What other suggestions are there for a stop not on a Sunday to do on your own? Is there a HoHo bus?
