Rental car drop off at POM?

If we get a rental car at the airport, is it possible to drop it off at the POM? Which rental car companies offer this service? Any recommendation?

It has been since 07 that we have used Miami, but last time, no you have to bring it back to the airport to return it. Even the company that (used to) advertise "we'll pick you up" wouldn't. You could have the driver drop off everyone at the port then take the car back and get a transfer, I think around 15$. Or you could drop it off, then take a taxi, used to be 30$. :)

It is true that you have to return the car at the airport locations but I used Alamo in October 2011 and they have a free shuttle from their airport location and the POM. Very convenient. There are a few others that do also, Dollar & Hertz come to mind but not 100% sure.

No rental agencies located at POM. As mentioned above some MIA airport locations offer free shuttle to POM and both Avis and Hertz have downtown locations very close to POM ($10 cab if they will not shuttle). Good luck! :)
