To further clarify, this year Good Friday falls on April 6, so:

 

For Catholic schools spring break is from April 4 through April 13.

 

For public schools spring break is from March 30 through April 8.

Correction:

 

San Juan catholic Schools no longer give the week after Holy Week off. They are off the same week as public schools.

 

So, "spring break" in Puerto Rico (Semana Santa/Holy Week) for 2012 is from Saturday March 31 through Monday January 9.

 

For future, spring break is from the Saturday prior to Good Frida to the Monday after Easter.
