The numbers games on a smaller ship

Recommended Posts

Firstly can I say two thank yous -

one for the wonderful experiences we continue to enjoy with Azamara, most recently last week - your whole team are working so hard to deliver a first class service 24x7 where customer is geunuinely put first

and two thank you for taking the time to take our questions

My question relates to the way Azamara is still having to play the numbers game regarding for example minimum numbers for shore excursions. Last trip we had excursions cancelled due to lack of demand which was disappointing given we were relying on the 50% reduction. The onboard team did offer alternatives but we sensed the minimum numbers they were working to were not appropriate given the variety of excursions being offered ( a plus) and the number of passengers on board (also a plus).

Some excursions, which were very enjoyable did include putting us all on a larger bus.

Could Azamara not consider reducing the minimum numbers required for excursions and a greater use of smaller buses/minibuses to raise the Land Discoveries experiences nearer that of a higher end brand (they still feel like Celebrity excursions, sorry)

and

Could you publish in the various brochures the minimum number of participants required for each trip to help us guage the likeliehood of a trip running
