St. Petersburg for teens?

We are fine-tuning our itinerary with TJ travel and I wanted to ask what is of particular interest to older kids and teens (ages 11-18) in St. Petersburg? I have been a few time without kids and did all of the museums, palaces and churches but I know that I can't do 2 days of straight museums and churches with them.

Any ideas for teens? I am hoping to fit in some places that will show them the real Russia, not just the tourist spots.
