Road closure for Sunday in new orleans

I don't have time to look it up for all the details but for those traveling to new Orleans (pity the ones getting off to go home). I-10 will be closed all day Sunday on the causeway. Almost certain it is both ways..might want to check this out ahead of time, could sure mess up time getting there.

If you are coming in from the West (or airport side) of town, just take Airline Drive (Hwy. 61) and pick up I-10 again at the Carrollton interchange. Same deal if you are headed West - just get off at Airline Dr. You can pick up I-10 again at Clearview Pkwy. or just stay on Airline Drive if you are headed to the airport.

 

The interstate has been shut down several times for the construction and it has not been a problem.
