Galveston transport to airport

We are sailing on the Mariner in March. I enquired with RCCL about the

excusion in Galveston and was told they no longer offered it. Just wondering about transportation back to the airport..IAH. Besides hiring

a limo what other options there may be. Any ideas? What are you doing?

we are hiring a driver,there arent many options for transportation to galveston... i researched for a while,

i would have sailed from somewhere else, if I would had known ahead of time,

the airport is about 1 1/2 hrs from galveston so you are looking at 120+$ each way for taxi maybe more, and more for a shuttle,

 

 

what dates are you gonna be there?

are you flying in before?

 

we booked with Z limo, we are out of HOBBY though, and it was 91 each way for 3 people ..

Check with RCCL they have transfers to Hobby and Houston airports. I think they are under 100.00 each way.

I agree, cruise line shuttle. I use them each time. (not Galveston as I live in the Houston area). PIcks me up at baggage claim and takes me to the boat. Then from boat to terminal. I don't even have to touch the luggage much, just give the porter a few bucks and Dave's a happy guy.:D
