Can anybody tell me how many formal nights to expect on a 20 day cruise along with the likely number of theme nights and what they are.

 

Do many people dress up for the theme nights?

Not been on such a long repositioning but usually Thomson have one formal night per week. Theme nights are not the norm on Thomson but perhaps someone may have experience of such events. One post recently said something about a Caribbean themed deck party where you were encouraged to dress up - but that would just be colourful shirts I guess (if you have one) and feel sure there would be no pressure or expectation that everyone should dress up.

Formal nights are optional. When we were on the Spirit last year we just ate in the Lido on the formal night and didn't need to dress up at all.
