Firstimecruiser2012 Posted January 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2012 Hi All, Just a query on the speciality restaurant Seishin. Is there an option for my partner to have a non-seafood menu? I'd love to try the 9 course delight but she can't abide seafood. Rather than having to miss this treat is there an alternative? Thanks in advance! dougburns Posted January 24, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2012 You can do that, but you would have to let the maitre'd for that restaurant know ahead of time for something like a vegetarian dinner. If you want just the meat and vegies from the menu you can ask for that when you go. Pamela is the maitre'd for Sieshin if she's aboard and she's very cooperative in making you happy. It's like my wife says, "You have a mouth; ask". If you get the full menu, I hope you're hungry and have lots of time, because it's a lot of food. It's very good though. Firstimecruiser2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted January 25, 2012 Thanks Dougburns. I'm certainly looking forward to it, one of (the many) reasons we chose Silversea for our Honeymoon was the Dining options and this was top of my list! I'll make sure I try and speak to Pamela in advance.
dougburns Posted January 25, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2012 If Pamela is on vacation, or not aboard, talk to whoever the maitre'd for Sieshin is. SS is very accommodating in meeting your desires. If you want anything like a special meal or whatever associated with your honeymoon, just ask. You can talk to either the Hotel Director( normally Paolo) or the F&B Manager.
