I just got my booklet from NCL that has our luggage tags in it. Does the color of the tag mean anything?

Usually it signifies things like deck number, forward, mid, aft, priority, etc.

I take it NCL still sends the cruise documents by mail or such? That is awsome if true! We have sailed on CCL the past 3 cruise and everything is done via e-mail...I have missed doing the "Doc Dance"

Also, it helps the porters at the pier sort out your luggage quicker too. If you want your luggage early, use the official ncl tags

Getting on the ship they are used to help sort by deck, room, etc. The color when leaving the ship signifies your time to disembark.

Yes, you'll get paper documents. The luggage tags come inside a pretty generic booklet about NCL.

 

If you don't receive the paper documents, you can print your luggage tags online.
