shuttle and transfers

Just back from the South America Splendours cruise on Insignia. Normally Oceania does not provide the shuttle services, but the various port authorities where they have the infrastructure, or local business chambers, to promote their ports and businesses. We visited 8 ports excluding embarkation and disembarkation ports, and only 3 ports did not provide shuttles, but these were close to the port or pier. In Rio, our port of embarkation, a local jewelry business provided a free shuttle to town and in Montevideo the leather factory did the same.
