downundermatt Posted January 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2012 This is the first time we are booking 14 months in advance for our Cruise, as we normally book last minute, a month or two prior so forgive these questions. I want to book for April 2013, using my Celebrity Passages voucher as a deposit. What happens if I need to rebook the Cruise (still with Celebrity) prior to final payment ? (my boss won't commit to holidays so far out GRRRRR ) The Cruise is 17 nights, I assume I may need to pay more than the $200 voucher credit ? When is final payment due ? Appreciate any guidance on this, and who knows maybe meet you on the Pacific Sydney-Hawaii April 2013.

If you start out angry, I can't imagine that things will improve much for you. You will need to get an answer from another Aussie since I believe bookings are handled differently for them. For US bookings, you could move the booking if you had to make a change and the deposit would only be $100/pp.
downundermatt Posted January 30, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted January 30, 2012 am far from angry - the angry face was meant to be beside my boss not allowing me to book holidays this early - i attempted to move it but couldn't manage to remove it from the title.... not knowing makes it impossible to plan a cruise - still thanks for your advice...... armidale1 Posted January 30, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2012 Can't comment on using the open passages voucher but when we just booked with celebrity online they had a breakdown of how much of the deposit you would lose if you cancelled by that date. For our January cruise next year if we cancel before August we will lose the deposit amounts after that it went from 25% up to 100%. Our final payment date is November. Hope this helps a little. I found the celebrity site to be frustrating when booking as it won't let you move on until you put in a 5 digit post code even when you select Australia as your country, I just put a 0 in front and this worked fine. Pean Posted January 30, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2012 We booked a future cruise when onboard in July and only had to pay $100pp deposit so I assume you won't have to pay any extra. As far as the deposit goes that is fully refundable if you change or cancel 151 days before departure. I hope that helps. Cheers
