cabin credit prior to cruising?

I heard you can send money in the form of cabin credit prior to cruising, so u can fill up your account with money beforehand and not have to worry about it on the ship:confused:

does anyone know about this? thank you

we did that for our upcoming cruise in May. Just call the number that they give for ordering gifts/coupons on the website and tell them you want "cabin credit" and be sure to specify you're not referring to "gift certificates" (those are a pain in the butt, they send them to you, then you have to send them back, blah blah blah). takes a few seconds and it's worth it to me not to have to travel with a ton of cash/Traveller's Checks.

I buy both cabin credit AND the funship dollars. Like mama said== if you want cabin credit please state you do not want the funship dollars.

The coupon states that you have to send it in but I take them with me and use them at the pursers desk the first day like cash. If I dont use it all I get a check the last night which i cash at the pursers desk.
