Cigarettes in Duty Free Shop

Does anyone know if you buy cigarettes in the duty free shop whether or not you can have them immediately? I know with alcohol you can't. On Europe cruises they will let you take the cigarettes immediately, but we were on Holland from Ft. Lauderdale to the Virgin Islands, and they made us wait until the night before our return to Ft. Lauderdale. We are sailing out of Tampa to Western Carib and returning to Tampa. If anyone knows for sure, I'd appreciate hearing. Thanks :)

Just off the Jewel. No restrictions on taking your smokes immediately.

As the above poster said yes you can. The reason you can't take the liquor immediately is due to NCL's policy, not because it's from the duty free.

Just off the Sun, no problem's either. 5 carton's of Marlboro--$117.00, other brand's $28.00 per, take 'em with you :D

Unlike some other lines, NCL will allow you to take smokes when you buy them.
