Another car rental question.

Not really another. This board is not full of these questions like most.

Can anyone give advice on rental for the day near the ship. Only reference I found was Avis and they are expensive. Thanks

That is what I was looking for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be on all 3 of the ABC's and no one seems to know which cars are close to the pier. Have a great weekend and if you ever sail form Cape Canaveral I will help you all I can. I live here!

Avis actually has a pier location and they charge $18 more than the HJ location and like you say it is just a few minute walk. Not to mention my guess is it will be much less busy. Thanks for the tip.

Definately rent at the pier however much more it costs. We made the mistake of renting from Hertz. It took forever for them to come meet us at the ship. We then spent what felt like an eternity at the hotel/Hertz rental desk getting our car. We probably lost almost 2 hours of precious beach time between pick up and drop off.
