Hi. Anyone have any relatively easy DIY from Marseille to nice towns in Provence using trains/busesin July? We are in port 10am-7pm. We are semi-fluent in French and OK with public transit---last summer we did bus from Monoca to Eze, bus to Nice, bus/train Nice to Monoca. thanks, Elaine

The easiest DIY option from Marseille is to simply take the train (or bus) up to Aix en Provence.
