wireless internet access on azura

Intending to take a Motorola Xoom tablet on our cruise on the Azura.

Can this be done, and if so how do you login.

There is ship wide wifi on Azura. Its not cheap though. If you look at your wifi settings and select the Azura Passenger Internet wifi signal then when you open your browser it will take you to the logon page. Here you can register and pay per minute or buy a package.

 

A 250 min package is £69 and if you buy it direct with P&O customer service before departure you get 100 free minutes added.

 

Beware it can be slow and sometimes it is offline dependant on where you are.

 

Alternatively there are wifi hotspots in most ports.

Yes, my mistake, I was confusing the 100 minutes with the lower tier of the prepaid bundle. Cheers for clearing that up.

On a recent Caribbean cruise on Ventura it soon became apparent that there was free wifi in many ports. The areas where it was available were easily ascertained by looking for groups of locals using laptops and tablets.
