Rare Familygoboston Posted February 1, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2012 Wondering if anyone can answer this question...I have two aft balconies booked on Jewel, one on each "half" of the ship (so to speak), they are not right next to each other, there is a cabin between us. If you split the ship in half, one cabin is on the port half and the other is on the starboard half, although technically, they are aft. Will we have different muster stations? We have one child bunking with one adult (and we will actually sleep in that configuration) but does that mean our family would be split up for mustering? We've always had cabins in the same run, and therefore all in the same muster station before. Another thing... I am thinking of doing this and wondering if anyone has tried ...I have Emerald C A luggage tags for one cabin and my mom has Gold for the other. We have very few bags, one roller bag each and maybe a small duffle with beach shoes and our wet suits. Im thinking of just tagging them (3-5 bags) with my Emerald tags. Seems my bags have come up much faster since we got those emerald luggage tags than when we were gold...but maybe it doesn't matter? Anyone have ideas about that? Thanks! MavisMarie Posted February 1, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2012 We were in those two staterooms on aft Deck 10 on the Brilliance. There were two different muster stations, but that was almost 3 years ago. It was not something we worried about but we were traveling with friends, not children. I have never felt that the Crown & Anchor designations on the luggage tags made any difference. A few cruises ago, we had Diamond tags and we were in a JS on Deck 10....I think we were the last people to get our luggage!! Other times, we have gotten the luggage by 2p.m. Have a great cruise. Ashland Posted February 1, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2012 You will have different muster stations..and the child will need to go with the adult they are sharing the cabin with to be checked in and accounted for....I too agree that as far as luggage arrival to your cabin is...C&A level...hit or miss situation..maybe more to do with when you checkin and your cabin location....Have the luggage delivered to the cabin where it should go... Rare Familygoboston Posted February 2, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted February 2, 2012 Thanks! I had a feeling that we would have two different places to go for muster. My 17 yo will go with my mom, they should be fine looking out for one another in an actual emergency! My younger DD is a nervous Nellie, she will be much happier knowing she'll be with me.;)
