MikeNJ1109 Posted February 8, 2012 #26 Share Posted February 8, 2012 There is no specific item that stands out, as all our cruises (both on RCL and NCL) have been terrific. A few "Kodak Moments" however from these cruises ... 1) After so many previous visits to St. Maartin, FINALLY being able to spend a few hours at Maho Beach, sipping a local beer while watching the planes take off and land at SXM 2) The GORGEOUS beaches on Bermuda, Aruba, Curacao and Grand Cayman 3) Seeing the Tulum Ruins in Mexico 4) Being able to sit down and do NOTHING ... enjoying our balcony ... being able to talk, catch up on life, relax, to be able to look into my wife's beautiful eyes and to remember why we fell in love and got married. As for your beach list ... we have Curacao and Aruba on the upcoming cruise and DD has decreed just one beach day. Of the two, which one is best? Sorry for the delay in responding ... so hard to choose between the two islands, as BOTH are great as beach locations ... on Curacao we were able to get a day pass at the Marriott (though I've heard they may not be continuing that program), and on Aruba, we go to the Radisson, absolutely gorgeous -- warm water -- and a Tiki Shack nearby ... Either one you choose, you'll enjoy!! Michael

It's been 10 years, but The beach we took the family to in Curacao was topless. We didn't know it when the taxi dropped us off there. We were all shocked after we finally got settled in and started to look around. It was really quite funny! All of the people from the cruise ship ended up moving to the very far end of the beach. I'm not sure if it's still that way or not.
