12:15 flight from Rome?

Our ship is in port at 7am, coming from Naples to day prior. If we get a private transfer @ 8am, can we make a 12:15 flight to the US (I am guessing terminal 5)? We are premier for AA, so we can use 1st class check-in and (maybe) expidited security line--if they have one. We will only have carryons.

Next question--what it we fly to LHR on BA and continue on AA from LHR? Would that be considered intra-Europe and require less time prior to check-in? IF so, what is the safest earliest flight we could take? 11AM?

Also, shuttle-van recommendations for 6 persons port-FCO that is under 200 euros?

Yes, you can make that flight.

 

We had a 11:50am flight out of FCO. We did self disembark off the ship at 7:25am. We had arranged for private transfer with Rome in Limo. Highly recommend them. They were there early and whisked the 5 of us off to the airport. I know it was around 130 or 150 euros but can't remember exactly which. That was for all 5 and we had a 8 person van with plenty of room. That price may have been discounted since we had done several tours and transfers with them. We're using them again this summer we were so pleased.

 

We had about an hour to spare to shop some at the airport before boarding. It took about an hour and a half getting through Terminal 5.

Because of the extra security at T5 I try to allow three hours prior to a flight. An 8 AM transfer should get you there well within that allowance for a 12:15 PM flight.

 

The American Airlines flight from Rome to London is probably a code share and, in any case, would not depart from T5. Therefore, doesn't have the same security checks. You can safely get to the terminal two hours prior to this flight.
