Carnival Legend room 8270

Hi All,

I'm taking my second ever cruise and bringing husband for his first ever cruise with me. Last time I cruised I had small balcony room on side of ship, would have preferred a larger balcony, which is why I chose Aft with longer option. Also neither of us get seasick and I wanted all the open vista. I think I chose right, but hmm....anyone out there been on this ship and stayed Aft? Thanks for your thoughts.

your balcony will look similar to this:

and your cabin similar to this:

for the money of the aft-- which costs more then the extended balcony I would have taken the extended balcony- cabin will look the same- its the balcony your are paying for.

We have stayed aft many times-- but the price is now higher then what is offered.

Aft balconies do not get ocean breezes and tend to stay warm.

Aft balconies are not even semi private-- the dividers sit at an angle.

the best extended balcony for 2 people is 7258 or 8232 (and no long walk to the stairs/elevators either.

Thanks for your response, I appreciate your advise! I thought I DID get an extended balcony, so I will call Carnival and ask for clarification. If possible, I'll move my room if they allow it for the extended balcony, which is actually more important than being aft.
