Sorry, but this doesn't have to do with our native iguanas. This has to do with an invasive species of iguanas that have no predators and are breeding out of control. So out of control they are, that they have shut down the airport, caused power outages, eat crops, attack native animals and are just plain a pest.

 

These are the same iguanas that are causing the same problems in South Florida.

 

Again, nothing to do with our native species, which are well protected.
