peachygreen Posted February 6, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2012 Does anyone have any reviews of the Theodore Too Tugboat? What age is it geared towards? I will have a 6 and 2 year old in July when we go to Halifax. What do they do on the boat? Do they point out any historic things or is it mainly a boat tour around the harbor? I saw that they give something for the kids to color but are they finding specific things or is it color a bridge, color a ship etc. If your cruise line has sponsored tours for the Theodore Too can you buy a ticket at the dock? Its $15-$20 per person more expensive to book it through the cruise line then via the prices on the website.
maryann ns Posted February 7, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2012 You should be able to buy a ticket at the dock. I don't understand the appeal, and have never been on it, but Theodore II is very popular with young children.
gold1953 Posted February 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2012 it is a narrated tour geared towards the children and yes they look for specific things on their papers. My 7 year old grandson loved it.
downeaster70 Posted March 5, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 5, 2012 Theodore is very popular with all young children in Halifax and surrounding areas., My grandchildren have been on it many times and never had a dull moment. The guides will narrate stories as well as points of interest all aimed at our young folks. Great harbour views and all the stories of the Big Harbour just happen to be about Halifax Harbour.Im sure any young person would enjoy it immensly
