tunaman2011 Posted February 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2012 Are you permitted to bring wine onboard or in your suitcase? Can this wine be brought to dinner in MDR? Is there a corkage fee? THANK YOU! Greetings You are allowed 2 bottles of wine per cabin upon embarkation. It may be better if you carry it aboard since they "may" detect it in your luggage and not know if it is wine or liquor. If that occurs, you will have to go to the naughty room to open your luggage. The corkage fee is $25/bottle if you take it to a restaurant, but there is no charge for enjoying the wine in your cabin. Good Sailing Tom
cruisegirl1 Posted February 6, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2012 As noted two bottles per cabin are permitted. We had one in a suitcase and it arrived with no problem. Not sure why one would need to go to security to claim luggage - after all – bringing a bottle of wine aboard is allowed . We had just poured a glass of wine in the cabin and didn't realize that it was time to leave for dinner so we carried the glass in to the dining room , and nothing was said. In fact, staff was at the door to carry it for us on a tray. Enjoy
