New ships?

Hi there

Can anyone tell me how I find out how old a cruise ship is (what year it was introduced). I cant seem to find that info anywhere. They will give the tonnage etc.:rolleyes:

Carnival website has all the info on each of the ships but an easier way is just Google the ships name and put tonnage or year in the search and it comes up right away.

I use cruisedeckplans.com Look for the fact sheet on the vessel in question and you'll find what you're looking for.

So I would guess this is hijacking the thread, but i don't know how else to send a message to a person. I don't mean to be mean by it.

Well I feel like I should add something on topic. I use Wikipedia. I know you can't always trust everything on there, but it has seemed to do the job.

This info used to be readily available on Carnival's site; however, if Carnival still has it, they've hidden it pretty well. I'd check something like the Wikipedia site for the ship.

Try Cruise Critic...:D

 

1. On main Cruise Critic page click "Cruise Reviews"

2. Under "Ship Reviews" drop box just find your ship

 

and poof there is the info on the right hand side towards the mid-bottom of page. Easy breezy:p:D
