bluecookies Posted February 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2012 Is there a way to tell the placement of the bed in balcony rooms on the Oasis/Allure? Is it odd or even numbered rooms?
Rare Familygoboston Posted February 11, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2012 (edited) Odd numbered cabins are interior and interior balcony cabins and even numbered cabins are exterior (Balcony) cabins and ocean view cabins. Cabins are designed in pairs, the doors to each pair are indented in the hallway. If you look at the deck plans, find a pair of connecting cabins, indicated by the connecting arrow icon on the cabins. Pretend you are standing in the hall in front of that pair of connecting cabins, the cabin on the right will have the bed by they balcony (or the far wall in the case of an interior). The cabin on the left will have the bed by the closet and bathroom. If your cabin number is not a connecting cabin, count every other cabin, (right, left, right, left) from a pair of connecting cabins till you come to the one you want to know about. No one is able to tell if this works for: -cabins placed at angels or sets of 3 in the bow -cabins adjacent to large suites -2 or 3 cabins set off by themselves in an area But it appears to be true for any long run of cabins on the deck plans, and no one has identified an "outlier" that I've seen on the board! Good luck! This should be corrected to say that some interior cabins might have even numbers. Edited February 11, 2012 by Familygoboston

janedo Posted April 1, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 1, 2014 So are all connecting rooms, beds by balconies?
akcruz Posted April 1, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 1, 2014 (edited) So are all connecting rooms, beds by balconies? No, as noted above when looking at the doors to the connecting cabins from the hallway, the cabin on the right has the bed by the balcony. The cabin on the left has the bed by closet. The cabins alternate so using the connecting ones as a start you can usually figure out the pattern. Edited April 1, 2014 by akcruz
