No limits but not sure how pricing may be affected if you wait longer. If more people buy the discounts may be less. On the other hand if not many are buying you may be able to get a nice discount.

Finally have the chance to go through pictures from our day Monday. Every year on the Monday after the Masters they hold a charity golf event locally sponsored by Darius Rucker. We used to go each year but during covid they only had the VIPs (very pricey tickets) so missed it. They opened up to general public with limited tickets this year so we were able to again. It always surprises me how most of the players, many well known, are very friendly. In years past most holes were open to all, this year they limited about half. Jim knew the sports guys, I knew some of the others. Got some pics but tried not to hold them up too much, have many more but here are a few. Great weather, and a fun day. Big picture area right outside the clubhouse Jim Sonefeld, the drummer from Hootie, he popped out to visit his wife and friends Jim McMahon, he recently hurt his ankle, notice the bare feet Sterling Sharpe Missed Urban Meyer looking up, oops Craig Melvin from the Today show Dan Marino and Darius Darius with his security, it was the people behind me they were watching 🤣

No algorithm expert but help me understand
akcruz replied to sadiwest's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Two things, first always look at the current price if cabins are available. It is often cheaper to upgrade than wait for royal up to do its thing. Second, there are thoughts that royal is also using the information from the bids to see how much people are willing to pay for certain types of cabins. As others have said nobody here knows for sure, it's all just speculation. -
Has anyone flipped their floorpan themselves?

I am not sure the bed would fit in the opposite spot. "Vanity/desk" is attached to the wall so not movable and many ships stagger cabins so part of the room is wider to fit the bed. Have you looked at changing cabins? We have had both and there are pros and cons to each. Give it a try maybe you will like it better?? -
If Bev Package or Dining Package Price Drops...
akcruz replied to CBVest's topic in Royal Caribbean International
As an FYI there are some things that cannot be handled this way. The beverage package is an example, once you buy for a person you can't buy another so would need to cancel first. Not sure about dining but would assume would be the same for some of the packages. -
Yes the dining room will do something if you mention it, most likely won't be a cake but a piece or 2 or a dessert with a candle in it. They will attempt to sing too. Many have special occasions on board you won't be the only ones.

Both of our houses have popcorn ceilings. Our home in SC had a leak in the roof due to hail damage, insurance covered the roof and ceiling repair. Leak showed in kitchen which is connected to main living and diningbareas. When the insurance adjuster came they said they would pay to have the popcorn removed from the entire area since it was connected, fix the bad spot and re popcorn. We asked do you have to redo it, how about smooth and paint. Insurance agreed, contractor was not happy. Took way too long and very messy. They set off smoke alarm one day due to the dust, yes the central one, that was a fun phone call, no we don't have a fire no need to send anyone, pleas turn off monitoring for today. Bedrooms and sunroof still have popcorn. Have also had to do the wall sanding, one bedroom in our house had flowers painted all over the walls and another sailboats. They looked OK but not the colors I wanted and didn't match anything else. Many hours were spent sanding and repainting.

The earthquake hit in the town next to where we used to live. Sister in law about 30 minutes north said the whole house shook. Called my son just a but west in PA, he's working nights this week so was asleep. Said it woke him up, not an east thing to do. Crazy, all in the area keep safe and watch for aftershocks.

This, can only be done on the phone, not on line. Very easy process. -
Pier Runners on Icon of the seas.

And how do you know that? They could have taken an RCL excursion but decided to wander the port area to shop or get something to eat losing track of time. Only those who missed the ship know for sure. -
I couldn't finish all of mine. Gave DH parts of a few courses, had to save room for dessert which i also couldnt finish. He said he would have been fine without what I gave him but did eat it. More than enough food for most people. Teo courses were missing pictures. Agree wholeheartedly on the portion sizes. The only downside to the dinner there is no alcoholic drinks, only water and iced tea served with your meal. We did stop for a drink before going as we knew and don't get down that way often so wanted to go to a spot we hadn't been to lately.

For the foodies, we went back to the Culinary Institute for dinner this week. Have done lunch before but first time for dinner. Seven courses for $45 pp, we left stuffed, all wonderful food, lots of great chefs coming up the ranks. Missed pictures of a few courses, too interested in eating, by the time I remembered it wasn't photo worthy. The menu, also included was a lobster soup to start. The only item you needed to pick was dessert, of course we got 1 of each. Lobster soup, went to take a bite before remembering picture, happened more than once Chevre Carrots Surf & Turf Mousse Tart Dining room, we like to sit at the counter and watch the cooks. Great night, looking forward to the next one.
