KPGirl Posted February 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2012 Can anyone tell me about the weather during the last week of December. We are going to Bahamas, Grand Turk, St Thomas San Juan. I have read here that it can get kind of cool on the decks and also in some of the ports. Is this true, we were really hoping for some hot weather. vacruizer Posted February 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2012 I've sailed the first week of January before to similar ports. San Juan and St. Thomas should be warm. The Bahamas can go either way. It was mid-sixties the time we sailed in early Jan and cloudy so it felt cool. Water temps won't be overly warm but still able to swim if you can tolerate it being chilly when you first get in (or wear a wetsuit or rashguard.) Chigirlcruzin Posted February 12, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2012 I did a NYE cruise this year and the weather was perfect. Low 80s. The water was quite chilly in Nassau, but perfect in St Thomas and St Martin.
