Copenhagen Hotel via Hotwire

Hi all,

 

I try and use hotwire whenever I can. Having said that, having never been to Copenhagen, or even Europe, I don't have the slightest clue of how I would go about picking a good location for hotel.

 

Hotwire has Copenhagen hotels in the following areas:

 

Kastrup

Vesterbro

and Amalienborg.

 

Kastrup looks like the one that's closest to the water. WDYT? Are any of these areas good?

 

Should I skip the hotwire roulette and book somewhere else?

Kastrup is out by the airport, Vesterbro is the area behind Tivoli and the central station.

 

Amalienborg i'm not sure about but i'm guessing that it is the hotels around Nyhavn.
