New Orleans which ship?

We are thinking about a cruise from New Orleans sometime between Feb - Apr 2013. There are two ships that sail out of NO during that time. RCL Navigator of the Seas and the NCL Star. We have been to all the ports that these ships will visit, so we are looking to sail for the ship. We have sail NCL before, but not RCL. The price on both ships for a mid ship balcony are close. RCL is a little higher, but not a game changer. What I'm looking for is the ship with best Spa, Dinning, Entertainment/Shows, Night Life and Casino. Ship stuff.

Can anyone help??

Thanks

Do them back to back and compare. :D

I live close to NOLA so I have done both of the current ships from NCL and RCCL, The Spirit and The Voyager.

I have never been on the Navigator or the Star. I do know the Navigator is a sister to the Voyager which I enjoyed very much just a couple of weeks ago.

The Spirit is one of my favorite ships out of almost 30 cruises and I hope the Star offers at least a comparable experience.

I will be doing both of these ships during the same time period you mentioned next year.

If you like NCL I can't imagine you wouldn't like the Navigator just as well.

The Voyager class are big beautiful ships. You can't go wrong with either of the ships out of NOLA next year.

I don't know that you're really going to get any help asking that question. All those things are very subjective, and as you can tell if you've read these boards (or the RCCL boards), one person's great cruise is another person's disaster cruise.

It's my personal opinion that all the mid-range cruising companies offer pretty much the same customer experience. You'll find some differences due to the age and/or size of the ships involved, but the food, spa, casinos, entertainment...they're all going to be pretty much the same.

Both companies offer an excellent cruise product for around the same price. Flip a coin?
