Is extension cord allowed on oasis?

After reading many posts, I'm still confused. Can I bring an extension cord and leave it on the desk. I'm too arthritic to be bending down. Thanks. A couple of extensions is just fine.

There is no clear answer on this. It varies from ship/port/sailing so it would seem. Sometimes they go through and others they do not.

We went on the Oasis last August and used an extension cord with no problem

I can't speak for Oasis, but generally you have one or two outlets in the stateroom that's around the desk area. There's no need for an extension cord if you want to have something plugged up on the desk. I haven't heard of an issue with bringing extension cords though...would a surge protector be acceptable (assuming you need more outlets)?

 

You may also have an outlet in the bathroom, often it's low-powered (only suitable for razors). I've seen them near the sink, or even on the ceiling (now THAT made no sense...the power brick's gonna fall out and hit me on the head!). But again, no bending down.

Unless they have refitted the plugs on Oasis, they are almost under the desk. It was not easy to do without bending down......Allure has a hole in the counter now for their outlet to be brought up.

I have heard different stories about power bars being or not being allowed....

On the Oasis they are below the desk. So you do have to bend down to get to it.

Have a c-pap and always take one, never a problem. Allure has outlet under the headboard behind bed...........................RADICAL
