Booked on Victory, now being re-assigned to Valor

We had booked a Feb, 2013 sailing on the Victory out of San Juan.

We got notice via e-mail today that they are substituting ships.

We had booked very early to get a 4J cabin (9202) on the Lido deck. We love the location, etc for the price.

Now the Valor no longer has these cabins on the Lido deck. They have been replaced with much higher priced "scenic ocean view" rooms.

When I called they said I will be assigned a new cabin in 2 to 3 days and will hear via e-mail.

Is anyone else in this position? What are the chances of negotiating for an upgrade? An equal category room would now be on a lower deck.
