Can anyone tell me what this cabin is like. We chose an inside cabin and we just received this 3 deck upgrade right in the middle of the ship!! What is the condition of the carpeting and bedding, etc on this deck...does anyone know?

Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

I was on the Empress deck (E132) October 2003 and carpet/bedding/mattresses were in great shape.

Are you back in Texas again???

I stayed on the Empress Deck on my cruise on the Eleation and loved it. It is convenient, as it is right where all the activity is. The decor is fine also, although reminds me slightly of Circus Circus in Las Vegas. I was on there a few years back, so I am not sure how worn the carpets and bedding are now.

Just off Elation last week. Our cabin E99 was ingreat condition. New mattress, bedding, comforter, pillows, and towels. Loved the deck location. We did hear slight noises a few times due to the dining room being above us. But nothing kept us up at night the noise was only during the day and then only a few times. I see you will be beneath the dining area too. I would not worry at all. The location is perfect on that ship. You will go up 1 for dining, 2 for casino and shows. the pool is on Lido and that is 3 decks up. Everything indoors is on deck 8 and 9. You will love your cabin if it has been renovated like ours was.
