Where to catch bus in Villefranche?

I know I take the #100 bus from Villefranche to Nice, but I can't find any posts that explain where to catch the bus in Villefranche once we tender in. Can someone help? Also, do we buy the tickets on the bus or are there machines?

Just walk up the hill from the port till you get to the main street. The bus will pick you up across the street right in front of the drug store. You can buy your ticket on the bus. It sounds vague but it's pretty obvious once you're there.

Yeah, it's really pretty easy, exit the port area and head to your left and up the hill, if you keep going up and away from the water you really can't miss it. You'll see the intersection on the main street with a stoplight, cross the street since the bus going towards Nice is on the other side of the street.

When we went it was 1 Euro pp, really an excellent value.
