oasis-- CABINS

Sorry we haven't stayed on deck 3 but you're on Oasis I don't think there can be a bad deck. Suggest taking the stairs , sometimes the lift can be a bit of a wait, plus it's good to wear off all those breakfast buffets.

We stayed on level 8 and walking back to our cabin each night through Central Park was awesome and would be our preference if we were fortunate enough to sail on her again. But I'd also love just to just sailing in any cabin again.

My only suggestion is to have a look at the decks above (there's not going to be anything below deck 3) and see if if the facilities that you want to be close.

No matter what you choose I think you'll have a great cruise.

I believe that the best cabin location is as close as you can get to the aft elevators.

This will eliminate a lot of walking...

Other than that, you budget will determine what cabin you select.

We have long preferred outside balcony cabins so we can listen to the sounds of the waves and enjoy the view day or night.

On Deck 3---Please give me some infor ..Pros and Cons

We switched to an outside cabin on deck 3 from a window overlooking Central Park as we like the water view. Cabin 3254. Our cabin was not to far from the elevator. Quiet deck. Never heard any noise from above. It was fine. I have no cons. :) This link gives you a good look at the cabin locations.

Sister-in-law and her hubby ended up with a guarantee window on deck three. They panicked but ship sold out so went for it and we're VERY happy. They are used to balconies but with the price of Allure took a chance. It turned out just fine and loved the water view right outside the cabin (NOT underwater btw - her concern). They did come up to our JS on deck 8 - now that is a room I would recommend!

I know you and Judith recently came off the Oasis,,Jan.22,,I followed your review and photos,,all wonderful.

We have just booked that mammoth this week,,with our family and friends..We have been on FOS,,Indy,,Mariner,,etc..so now ready for the big one..

Would you please, if possible,,tell me more about the ship,,or better you can please let me know how to find your last review of the ship.

Our grandaughter who will be 4yrs. will be with us,,I know you did see alot of children and what did you think....The FOS has a good program and I'n sure all the ships have the same.

We are booked on deck 9,,kids are in a OV,,that faces Central park and we are across the hall in our usual balcony cabin..DD is nervous about the balcony with the little one (me too),,,I think we are mid-ship,,but more toward forward,,,any advice or help is much appreciated..

Thanks again,

I have cabin 3254 for a June cruise. Is the bed by the window or by the closet? I'm guessing the was no noise from the casino?
