HAL newb question: Vx classes on Eurodam

After much discussion and comparing, we're booking an E. Carib. cruise on the Eurodam next year, Princess credits from the Cruise to Nowhere, etc, notwithstanding.

 

Can anybody sum up the differences in the Signature class verandahs? Aside from size, are any locations / decks preferable to others? Are any verandahs covered?

We have been in VC5180 and it was a nice quiet location. It had a shower only, no tub, which I actually quite liked. A family member was in VB61xx with the tub and they quite liked it also. The ones people tend to shy away from are the VH because of steel railing and the VT juliet balconies, as they are very small and there is no room to sit properly.
