Dreamin Posted April 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2005 Should one 7 day cruise with Celebrity equal one 7 day cruise with Royal Caribbean? I called Celebrity today to get my Captains Club number and they told me that I had to have 5 cruises with Celebrity in order to get any credit with Royal Caribbean!?! Does this make sense to anyone? Has anyone been successful in transfering credits from one to the other? Thanks for your help,
dougp26364 Posted April 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2005 Yes it actually does. Captains club and Crown and Anchor are recipricol with each other at the Platinum level and up, which means you need to have 5 cruises under you belt with one or the other cruise line to recieve recipricol benefits. In other words, sail credits are not shared between clubs but, if you're a platinum member of C&A, then you'll be treated as if you had plat. status in the Captains club. If you're a gold member with C&A then you'll have no status with Celbrity until you complete at least one cruise with them.
Dreamin Posted April 20, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted April 20, 2005 You would think that since they are owned by the same company one would honor the other after just one cruise! Oh well! Thanks for you response!
