Cheers Package Splendida

For anyone purchasing the adult cheers package MSC UK state the following:

'Please note that wine is served by the bottle in the main restaurants. If unfinished the bottle will be stored away for you to enjoy the next evening'.

Also:

'Cocktail packages are published on board only'.

I may cancel my packages if not allowed to take opened bottles back to cabin.

Anyone with very recent experience of this? (Splendida or other MSC ships)

We were on the Facntasia in 2010 and enjoyed:rolleyes: the cheers package. There were 6 adult family members at the table. One couple had no package at all, we had the cheers package and my in laws had the all inclusive. As the all inclusive is jugs of wine (which wasnt that nice to be honest) we all worked off my cheers package for the bottles. Each night we left with 4 bottles of wine to enjoy in the bar or back at our cabins. While I dont think its technically allowed the waiter had no problem in supplying us corks for the wine also!!!

My advice is stick with the cheers package and there should be no problem however just in case bring a few wine corks!!!
