What flights and Hotel in Rome are included ?

Looking for help - we are booked on our first Azamara Cruise in September - from Rome to Barcelona and am really looking forward to it.

 

However the thread on flights is rather scary. I have booked through UK Travel Agent - Have no idea what flights are - surely they would be direct from Heathrow - but previous thread seems to say this is not always true.

 

Also a Rome hotel is included for one night pre-cruise. How do we find out what hotel ? Does this information come nearer to cruise departure ?

 

Have always booked our own flights and hotels before and I am finding that I really do not like being rather out of control.

 

Have looked on website - but that as you know - is rather a waste of time.

I can't help with the hotel, but I think you will find the flight situation from the UK has inmproved.

 

For our cruise last September - from Venice to Rome - we had indirect flights with Al Italia via Rome for the outward leg and direct from Rome on the return.

 

However, for our back to back Greek Isles and Black Sea this July (starting and finishing in Athens) we have direct BA flights to Athens and were even offered a choice of flights.

 

I would check with your travel agent as soon as possible but you should be OK.
