Wyatt Cruiser Posted February 24, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2012 Just booked a royal suite on Eclipse but cannot find anything on the Celebrity website detailing what perks are available on the ship. RCL has a concierge lounge with complimentary cocktails in the evening. Does Eclipse offer similiar? Thanks

Does Eclipse offer similiar? Thanks We were in a Royal in November on Equinox and in addition to the listed perks, we received all the Elite Benefits, including being invited to the Elite Cocktail Event in the evenings at Michael's. But, as many people will now jump in and say, that is not guaranteed and up to the individual ship to determine on a cruise by cruise basis. I took a bunch of pics of the cabin, and still have yet to post my review. The best perks of this cabin came with it ;-) in addition to the full spacious bathroom in the bedroom area, the main room, has a small powder room..loved having 2 bathrooms and a dining room table that seats 6! Caribbeankitty Posted February 25, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 25, 2012 That is correct you will have all elite benefits some on here will tell you not correct We have sailed with friends who took royal suite and had all elite perks So enjoy your suite We were in a Royal in November on Equinox and in addition to the listed perks, we received all the Elite Benefits, including being invited to the Elite Cocktail Event in the evenings at Michael's. Project_gal Posted February 25, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 25, 2012 That is correct you will have all elite benefits some on here will tell you not correct We have sailed with friends who took royal suite and had all elite perks So enjoy your suite It is not that people will tell you that you are "wrong", it is just that these perks are "discretionary". They are offered to suites at the discretion of the Hotel Director. Elite benefits and bar set up are not published perks that you get as a right. Having said that, you are more likely to get these perks the higher category of suite you book. It is even more complicated in that, twice on Infinity, we have been given Captain's Club Elite vouchers in addition to the vouchers to which we were entitled [select plus Elite once and double Elite once] but on other ships only received one set of Elite vouchers. My understanding is that a single set of vouchers is more usual. The reason people [based on their experience as well as what they have been told] point out the discretionary nature of these perks is not to be difficult but to ensure that people booking suites have a clear expectations. m1celt Posted February 25, 2012 #8 Share Posted February 25, 2012 Has anyone in a Sky Suite ever received these Elite benefits? So far we have been in a S2 on both the Solstice and the Silhouette and have never received the Elite perks. However, we have always had great butlers and truly enjoyed their services.
